Fifteen countries from Asia and Oceania have signed an agreement to form the world's largest trade association. This consolidation is seen as a major victory for China, the main promoter of the project since negotiations began in 2012.

As the main proponent of this initiative, China is consolidating its influence in Asia, to the detriment of the United States, which showed disinterest as soon as Donald Trump took office, leaving no doubt that this is just the beginning of a major commercial success.
