On August 3, 2020, The Judge of the 1st Federal Court of the Judicial Section of Rondônia recognized the impossibility of requiring a guarantee for the release of the goods, "which refers to a discrepancy in tariff classification," according to the understanding established by the Superior Court of Justice.
Furthermore, it acknowledged ABIT's bias in preparing expert reports, since it is an association with a vested interest in the outcome of the case, as it represents the "“textile and clothing companies located in the national territory”.
