The new SISCOMEX website was launched by the Ministry of Economy (September 11, 2019).
The new system aims to facilitate the search for information and public services related to foreign trade.
These modernizations aim to align with, for example, the evolution of the Trade Facilitation Agreement (which aims to reduce bureaucratic impacts on imports and exports).
Its scope tends to meet many of the needs of those involved in foreign trade, indicating government systems, news related to foreign trade, manuals, legislation (including those under the jurisdiction of the authorizing bodies), instructions for integrating corporate systems with the Single Portal, and foreign trade information services.
The Brazilian Foreign Trade Secretariat and the Federal Revenue Secretariat will also concentrate information of interest to exporters and importers on this website; simply consult '‘siscomex.gov.br’.
We recommend that you always consult your lawyer so that I can apply the best legal and economic solution for your business.
