With the new measure, if a technical defect is found that requires the replacement of the originally imported goods, the exchange of goods will be guaranteed with the taxes being charged only once.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The new regulation also eliminates the need to obtain import licenses for the replacement of originally defective merchandise, making the process less bureaucratic for Brazilian importers.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Furthermore, it establishes other ways to prove a product&#039;s defect, in addition to the traditional presentation of technical reports.
