{"id":2311,"date":"2019-10-08T14:02:09","date_gmt":"2019-10-08T17:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dbtesser.siteup.dev\/banco-central-apresenta-projeto-de-liberacao-cambial\/"},"modified":"2019-10-08T14:02:09","modified_gmt":"2019-10-08T17:02:09","slug":"central-bank-presents-draft-exchange-rate-liberalization-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dbtesser.com.br\/en\/banco-central-apresenta-projeto-de-liberacao-cambial\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Bank presents draft bill for foreign exchange liberalization."},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dbtesser.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/new-08.10-1.jpeg\" alt=\"dollarcentral bankexchangeexchange releaseexporterimporter\" class=\"wp-image-561\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Bank proposed this past Monday (October 7, 2019) a bill that aims to modernize the rules that currently govern the foreign exchange market in the country, which, according to technicians from the monetary authority, will give exporters more freedom in the use of their own resources abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This refers to &quot;exchange rate liberalization,&quot; which implies that bank accounts, salaries, and prices can be dollarized, aiming to end the restrictions currently imposed on companies regarding the use of their export revenues in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Brazilian law dictates that funds belonging to an exporting company based in Brazil must enter the country through a foreign exchange transaction before being remitted abroad.
