The Brazilian Federal Revenue Service has already requested several recommendations, including: adopting solutions for remote merchandise inspections, harmonizing procedures, strengthening the port community, and improving warehousing policies at ports and airports.

 

According to the Federal Revenue Service, some solutions are already underway, and there are high expectations for further operational advancements.

 

It is estimated that diligent action by the importer or their representative in registering declarations, delivering goods and documents has the potential to reduce processing time by an average of more than 40%.
