In a recent decision issued on May 21, 2021, by the 26th Federal Civil Court of São Paulo, the Judiciary determined that the Union should immediately register a company in the Siscomex Radar system under the unlimited modality, which authorizes import operations exceeding US$$ 150,000 per semester.

The company sought judicial relief after the Tax Authority unjustifiably dismissed, on two separate occasions, the Administrative Procedure initiated with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service – RFB, which aimed to request a review of the estimate of its financial capacity, even in the face of numerous pieces of evidence presented.

Thus, the indispensability of a specialized team to provide the necessary legal support to international trade operators is demonstrated, since, often, even when they carry out their commercial activities in accordance with regulatory requirements, they are surprised by arbitrary conduct, which ends up making it impossible to continue their functions.
